About / Divine Jemegbe

There’s usually
an idea behind it.

I build ideas through design, stories, systems, experiences & communities.

I like finding the point where an idea meets real life. Who does it serve? What has to work? What will people experience when they encounter it?

That takes me across visual communication, writing, useful tools and community work. I’m building a body of work that shows what those ideas become in practice.

Design is one way I approach that work. It helps me ask better questions, give things a useful structure and pay attention to how people actually use them.

I’m based in Abuja, Nigeria, and I’m a Nursing Science student at Margaret Lawrence University. Healthcare is part of what I’m learning. My interests also take me into technology, business, creativity and the ways people learn and work together.

A body of work, still taking shape.

I’ve led and facilitated a digital-skills programme through the Global Shapers Community Warri Hub, contributed visual communication as a graphic design volunteer at GELA, and built a financial workbook with supporting documentation.

The context changes. I try to stay with the actual question, understand what is needed and make something useful from it.

Room for more
than one expression.

Design, stories, systems, experiences and communities are connected parts of how I build. I don’t expect every project to use all five.

Some ideas need a clear visual language. Others need a structure, a conversation or a way for people to participate. I’m interested in understanding the difference.
